Gauteng sees biggest drop of voters

With 92% votes counted turnout for the 2016 Local Government Elections is 57.96% nationally compared to 57.64% in 2011. Turnout will only be finalised once all votes have been counted.. The province that saw the biggest decline in voters is the Gauteng Province with a drop of 22% (557330) voters. In respect of the other provinces there is no significant change.
