ANC determined to win back Cape Town

The African National Congress (ANC) has vowed to change the sphere of local government for the better.

President Jacob Zuma says they will use lessons learnt in metros that they are governing to improve district municipalities.

He was speaking at the ANC Siyanqoba Rally in Johannesburg on Sunday.

Zuma says the ANC wants to win back Cape Town to ensure that people of all races benefit equally from their metro.

The President says the poor people in Cape Town are not treated with respect.

He says if elected, the ANC will use its experience of inclusive governance to transform Cape Town.
