ANC gears up for final Siyanqoba rally

The ruling African National Congress (ANC) is gearing up for its final Siyanqoba rally with some last minute door-to-door campaigning.

There was much focus on Tshwane, a highly contested metro. ANC deputy president Cyril Ramaphosa accompanied by Tshwane’s mayoral candidate Thoko Didiza visited Majaneng in Hamanskraal, north of Pretoria on Saturday.

Ramaphosa says he’s confident that the work they have been doing will guarantee them a win in Tshwane.

Ramaphosa says the support they have been receiving is encouraging.

“So, as you can see here the people are excited, this is now the final phase, the Siyanqoba phase, and everyone here is assured of a total overwhelming victory to our election campaign here in Tshwane.”

Ramaphosa adds: “So, we are elated, we feel enormously encouraged that we’ve got the full support of our people here in Tshwane and its support that is based on the record, the work that has been done in the past five years.”
