Inkatha Freedom Party (IFP) leader Mangosuthu Buthelezi has taken his local government election campaign to KwaHlabisa on the northern part of KwaZulu-Natal where he has handed over a house to a destitute family.
The Cebekhulu family have received a fully-furnished four-roomed house after living in a dilapidated shack for 20 years.
Scores of IFP supporters descended to witness the handing over of the house.
Buthelezi has urged eligible voters to choose councillors that are honest, available and accessible and someone who believes in servant leadership.
He says when voters vote for the IFP councillor, they will be choosing the IFP’s values of integrity, service, participation, respect and hard work.
