NFP marches to have party included in elections

Scores of NFP supporters have taken to the streets of Paul-Pietersburg marching to the local municipal offices demanding that the party be included in the August 3rd municipal elections.

The party was disqualified by the IEC to contest the upcoming elections after it failed to pay a deposit fee of four-hundred and ninety thousand rand.

Now its hopes are pinned to the Constitutional Court after its application was dismissed by the Electoral Court.

The party hoped the Constitutional Court can be lenient to them and allow them to contest the polls.
