UDM campaigns in Mpheko Village

United Democratic Movement (UDM) president, Bantu Holomisa, has taken the party’s election campaign to Mpheko Village outside Mthatha in the Eastern Cape.

He told villagers that it’s time to punish the ruling party – for what he calls poor service at the polls.

The UDM used to control the King Sabatha Dalindyebo Municipality. It lost control soon after the introduction of the floor crossing legislation.

It is upbeat that it will reclaim this municipality.

Holomisa says the party has fielded councillors countrywide.

The UDM continues with its election campaign in the province before moving to Gauteng this weekend.
