PAC calls on public to join party

Hundreds of members of the Pan African Congress (PAC) have started making their way into Saulsville Arena, west of Pretoria, ahead of the launch of the party’s Local Government Elections manifesto.

The PAC which has been losing support throughout the country due to amongst others, continuous leadership squabbles hope to use the manifest to reposition the party as an alternative government.

Party Secretary General Narius Moloto says they are expecting around 6 000 people to attend the manifesto launch.

In its mixed bag of promises to electorates the party hopes to improve service delivery, social welfare, education and also speed up land redistribution.

Party leader Luthando Mbinda is expected to deliver a key note address in a short while.
