EFF leadership descends on Mbombela

The national leadership of the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) descended on Mbombela, Mpumalanga, to screen candidates elect for the local government elections.

Fighters are gearing up for the local government elections. The party’s deputy president Floyd Shivambu outlined the party’s road map.

Candidates have been advised to intensify their campaigns ahead of the elections.

The candidates pledge to uphold the commitment made during the manifesto launch – among them is the creation of job opportunities.

The candidates know what is expected of them.

“The EFF wants to make the difference in people’s lives and we are going to do that,” adds one candidate.

EFF is optimistic it will make inroads in the province’s 21 municipalities.

Shivambu warned that corruption would not be tolerated.

EFF deputy president says, “We intend to fight corruption in its forms once in power.”

EFF is contesting the 2016 Local Government Election for the first time since its formation.
