ANCWL to march for peaceful elections

The African National Congress Women’s League will be marching to the Union Buildings where they will hold a prayer service for peaceful local government elections.

The league will be led by its president, Bathabile Dlamini.

Dozens of women’s league members clad in black and green have gathered at the Pretoria arts museum getting ready for the march to the union buildings.

There they will hold a national inter faith prayer for a peaceful local government elections.

This year’s local elections in August are expected to be the most competitive yet, with a number of metros said to be up for grabs.

ANCWL members will also be addressed by their president.
