The Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) members have been kicked out of the Mpumalanga provincial legislature after attempting to interrupt the State-of-the-Province Address which Premier David Mabuza is currently delivering.
The speaker of the house asked the EFF members to leave the chamber. Mabuza is expected to focus on ways of enhancing economic development in the province.
Meanwhile, North West Premier Supra Mahumapelo is expected to outline his government’s plans, when he delivers the third State of the Province Address for the fifth administration in Matlosana Auditorium in Klerksdorp on Friday.
All the province’s municipalities have also been marred by allegations of corruption, maladministration and poor service delivery
In his address, Premier Mahumapelo is expected to take stock of the provincial government’s services delivery programme over the past year.
He will also unveil plans to boost the province’s economy through Agriculture, Culture and Tourism.
Mahumapelo’s address comes at the time when the province is sinking deep into financial crisis with three departments: Education, Health and Public Works put under administration.
All the province’s municipalities have also been marred by allegations of corruption, maladministration and poor service delivery.
