Mokonyane to address ANC volunteers in E Cape

African National Congress (ANC) Head of Elections and Campaigns Nomvula Mokonyane will on Saturday address dozen volunteers at a launch of party’s campaign in Port Alfred in the Eastern Cape.

This comes as the party is gearing up for this year’s Local Government Elections.

Mokonyane is also expected to respond to service delivery-related issues in the Sarah Baartman region.

“We are preparing our volunteers telling them what is expected out of them, encouraging them to go door to door and do thorough organisational and political works convincing people to vote ANC. Beyond the rally its self the leadership in the region will be able to interact with Comrade Nomvula in a quest of trying to solicit a solution to the problems that are aching here in particular the problem of water,” says the region’s ANC Secretary Scara Njadayi.
