Public Protector to probe ANC-PIC for corruption: Holomisa

The President of the United Democratic Movement (UDM), General Bantu Holomisa has asked the Public Protector Thuli Madonsela to investigate the African National Congress (ANC) for corruption.

He wants the ruling party investigated for allegedly taking R 40 million from the Public Investment Corporation’s (PIC) account to pay their staff and to throw a birthday party which took place last weekend in Rustenburg.

Speaking on AM Live, Holomisa says he will not reveal the source of information.

Meanwhile, ANC Treasurer-General, Dr Zweli Mkhize says they have not received any money from the PIC and has called on Holomisa to provide evidence to back up his allegations.
