DA launches second branch in Nkandla

The Democratic Alliance (DA) will on Sunday launch its second branch in Nkandla, KwaZulu-Natal, where President Jacob Zuma’s private homestead was recently upgraded to the tune of R246 million at taxpayers’ expense.

KwaZulu-Natal DA leader Zwakele Mncwango, deputy leader Mergan Chetty, and Uthungulu constituency head Ann McDonnell “will be launching another branch in Nkandla, President Zuma’s backdoor”, the DA said in a statement on Sunday.

“Scores of people have joined the DA since the first branch was launched at Nkandla last month. The people of Nkandla can now see that it is only the DA that can provide them with real change, with its proven record of excellent delivery where it governs.
“The DA is ready to govern Nkandla and the whole of South Africa, working towards building one nation with one future through our values of freedom, fairness, and opportunity for all.

“This is another clear indication that the DA in KZN is growing in every corner of the province ahead of the 2016 local government elections,” the statement said.
