Vice Chairperson of the Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) Terry Tselane, says it’s all systems go as South Africans will cast their votes in the Local government elections.
South Africa has 28 million registered voters.
Speaking on Morning Live Tselane says this election is about the quality of the election.
He says people need to know they can trust the election process.
He says: “All the systems have been tested, quality of the election staff, quality of voters roll and the quality of the logistics.”
“In a way this organisation has improved tremendously. People are more interested about the details of the elections. They can no longer accept any errors in the electoral process,” adds Tselane.
