Former Elias Motsoaledi Municipal Mayor, Julia Mathebe, has been elected as the Chairperson of African National Congress (ANC) Sekhukhune region, in Limpopo. The City of Ekurhuleni has announced its new multi-party Mayoral Committee. Under the leadership of the newly elected Mayor Tania Campbell, the committee consists of members from the Democratic Alliance (DA), Inkatha Freedom Party (IFP), ActionSA and the Congress of the People (COPE).
