Final results are out for the metro in Gauteng with the ANC in a thin lead against the opposition:

ANC 38.19% – 86 seats

DA 28.72% – 65 seats

EFF 13.57% – 31 seats

Action SA 6.6% – 15 seats

FF+ 3.3% – 8 seats

Patriotic Alliance 1.88% – 4 seats

IFP 1.36% – 3 seats
