{"id":964082,"date":"2024-07-03T08:59:24","date_gmt":"2024-07-03T08:59:24","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/localhost:8888\/dm-simulator-v2\/?p=964082"},"modified":"2024-07-03T08:59:24","modified_gmt":"2024-07-03T08:59:24","slug":"gauteng-nurse-in-court-on-murder-and-insurance-fraud-charges","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/elections.sabc.co.za\/elections2024\/gauteng-nurse-in-court-on-murder-and-insurance-fraud-charges\/","title":{"rendered":"Gauteng nurse in court on murder and insurance fraud charges"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A Gauteng nurse, Sithembile Xulu, is expected to appear in the Lenasia Magistrate&#8217;s Court, south of Johannesburg, for a bail application.<\/p>\n<p>Xulu (48), along with her gardener, Simon Mgale, is charged with the murder of 21-year-old domestic worker, Busiswa Nxumalo.<\/p>\n<p>Xulu, who works at a clinic in Alberton, was arrested at her home in Vosloorus.<\/p>\n<p>Police suspect she orchestrated Nxumalo&#8217;s murder to benefit from three life insurance policies worth a total of R6 million taken out in Nxumalo&#8217;s name.
