{"id":964873,"date":"2024-07-09T04:23:25","date_gmt":"2024-07-09T04:23:25","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/localhost:8888\/dm-simulator-v2\/?p=964873"},"modified":"2024-07-09T04:23:25","modified_gmt":"2024-07-09T04:23:25","slug":"bollywood-stars-add-glam-to-ambanis-pre-wedding-rituals-in-mumbai","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/elections.sabc.co.za\/elections2024\/bollywood-stars-add-glam-to-ambanis-pre-wedding-rituals-in-mumbai\/","title":{"rendered":"Bollywood stars add glam to Ambani&#8217;s pre-wedding rituals in Mumbai"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Bollywood stars attended the &#8216;Haldi&#8217; (turmeric) ceremony of Anant Ambani, the youngest son of India&#8217;s biggest business tycoon, Mukesh Ambani, on Monday in the entertainment capital of Mumbai.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;Haldi&#8217; ceremony is a South Asian tradition in which guests smear a turmeric paste on the face and body of the bride and groom-to-be to ward off any evil spirits and omens.<\/p>\n<p>Indian actor Salman Khan, billionaire Mukesh Ambani&#8217;s brother Anil with wife Tina Ambani, social media influencer Orry, and other celebrities were seen posing for the media persons at the event.<\/p>\n<p>Anant, one of the three heirs of the billionaire family is a director at Reliance&#8217;s new energy business and is set to marry his long-time girlfriend Radhika Merchant who is a director at India&#8217;s Encore Healthcare.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier in March, a variety of high-profile guests including Bollywood A-listers, cricketers and business tycoons attended a three-day long pre-wedding bash in western Jamnagar city.<\/p>\n<p>The festivities were attended by Meta&#8217;s Mark Zuckerberg, and fellow Indian billionaires Gautam Adani and Kumar Mangalam Birla as well.
