This after he and other members of the IFP\u2019s national executive committee crisscrossed KwaZulu-Natal ahead of the party\u2019s national election manifesto launch next Sunday in Durban.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"in\">Mzumbe Constituency is ready for the <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/IFPManifestoLaunch?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">#IFPManifestoLaunch<\/a> on 10 March at the Moses Mabhida Stadium. Hlabisa says South Africans cannot afford another five years of ANC rule.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn 1994 we stood in long queues for more than one day because we were determined to remove the apartheid government that was not helping us. In 2024 is an opportunity for all of us to go to the voting station and stand in long queues and remove the government that has failed us.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The IFP leader says an ANC MP said in Parliament that load shedding is not the end of the world.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLoad shedding has marked an end to the future of our youth, small business people who had to close their businesses because of load shedding. To them, the world came to an end.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Hlabisa went on to say that rights enshrined in the Constitution are meaningless if government fails to deliver basic services.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYour right to health care, your right to water, and even to\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.sabcnews.com\/sabcnews\/ifp-wants-subject-pass-rate-to-be-increased-to-50\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">freely choose your occupation<\/a>\u00a0are rendered meaningless when the government fails to deliver basic services and destroy the economy. The IFP is ready to govern.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The IFP\u2019s banners for the 2024 election bear the face of its late founder, Mangosuthu Buthelezi.
