Nkandla, a rural area with high unemployment, sees its residents voting for better employment opportunities for their children.<\/p>\n<p>One resident says, \u201cI am here to vote for change. My main priority is to see young people being employed.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Another adds, \u201cI want load-shedding to end. We need water, proper roads, and an end to crime. We are voting for improved living conditions.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>A third voter emphasises, \u201cI am voting for change in my country. Our children should get jobs. I also want grants for elderly people to be increased because we are feeding our unemployed children.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>2024 Elections | \u201cI am hoping this election will bring change\u201d:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><iframe title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/gE9DQGXisls?si=mMJT9A-HuU2aONz_\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>In KwaGuqa in eMalahleni, Mpumalanga, voters expressed hope that their lives would improve after the elections.<\/p>\n<p>One voter says, \u201cI feel happy that I have voted because my vote is important.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Another adds, \u201cYesterday I was off-loading at the Richards Bay hub. I drove from Richards Bay to Middleburg. I didn\u2019t sleep. I drove the whole night to get here where I registered to vote.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>A third voter shares, \u201cWith my vote, I believe there will be change. Our children will have jobs and the issue of water shortage will be addressed.\u201d<\/p>\n<h4><strong>2024 Election | Umsinga residents in KZN demand better services<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p><iframe title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/qxR6I5-jCMQ?si=WKSZGKuWKDEociNw\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>At Ho\u00ebrskool Schoonspruit in Klerksdorp, North West, over 100 voters are in line, and the process is running smoothly. Voters there are also optimistic.<\/p>\n<p>One voter says, \u201cIn this election, I hope the winning party will do more in terms of job creation and crime prevention, and maybe change certain laws to make this country safer.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Another voter comments, \u201cI think the ANC had a chance, so maybe it\u2019s time for a different party to take over and make a higher change.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>A third voter concludes, \u201cI hope that South Africa will turn around.
