The CSIR 2024 compensatory ballot prediction model indicates that the ANC is likely to clinch 41.8 percent of the votes.
It has however cautioned that this is only a prediction at this stage and that results continue to trickle in. By 6pm on Thursday and with 27.18 percent of results already captured, the IEC’s live results placed the ANC at 42.54 percent.
