The DA in the province has also reacted to the death.
The party’s Limpopo provincial leader, Lindy Wilson says, “Marcelle Maritz was well known to the DA in Limpopo as she started her political career as a councilor in Mogalakwena. After she joined the FFPlus, we remained on good terms with her and had very fruitful engagements in coalition governments in Limpopo. Our thoughts and prayers are with her friends, family and colleagues. We wish them courage and God’s strength in this difficult time.”
